Dear colleagues,
It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the European Semiconductor Laser Workshop to be held in Lausanne on 23rd and 24th September 2011, following the 27th European Conference on Optical Communication (ECOC) in Geneva.
The Workshop is hosted by EPFL - Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne - to provide an informal forum for discussing recent advances in the field of semiconductor lasers and related devices and technology. You will also remember the nature beyond the campus, which will offer pleasant settings for further stimulating exchanges.
